Final Fantasy Type-0 Coming to Steam

Final Fantasy Type-0 is officially coming to Steam. Originally this was just a rumor from MSI but Square Enix has confirmed it threw Twitter. Type-0  was originally meant to be a PSP title, but was moved over to the PS4. No official date yet but with any luck it will be soon. My big wish is that all the Final Fantasy games, XV in particular , end up on steam. That way I have no reason to pick up a PS4.

Cleaning....

So I had great plans of just heading out early and picking up Wildstar, then spending the day installing and playing. Of course it's never that easy. Picking up the game went just find, it was the last copy so I got a bit lucky there. The problem came when I got home, opened up the dvd drive and popped the disk in and nothing. I took it out put it back in..... nothing. I restarted, checked drivers, uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them with nothing but more nothing.  All this lead to me taking the laptop apart giving the inside a good cleaning, which included more than a little profanity, after all profanity helps fix everything along with duct tape and a hammer. After all that I put the dvd back into the drive, still nothing.  Anyway after a day of me fiddling with it, something must have clicked just right and it started working again. Wildstar got installed and I ended up making a Human Engineer that took the explorer path. I've only had a couple hours of play bu...

why i'm not a fan of steam

Why I don't like Steam. As you can probably tell by the title I'm not a Steam fan. While it has it's place and does do a pretty good job of keeping games organized and up to date their is one epic problem with it. When it crashes you can't play anything. Just a second ago I was going wonder the world world of Skyrim only to have Steam tell me that they couldn't connect to anything and while it may be my internet connect it might not be. Why do I need a connection to play Skyrim at all? I understand when an mmo goes down and I can't play it. I don't like it but I understand it, the internet is mandatory for online games, but Skyrim and a lot of other games don't really have anything to do with the online world. I bought a single player game that I could just play without having to worry about internet or other people for. Thanks for taking that away Steam, really...Thanks.
