Diablo 3 Launch Adventure!

That wasn't pretty... So like many people I rushed out and bought Diablo 3 sped home and started the long boring task of installing the game. I unlike what seems like a lot of the others that bought the game actually got the chance to play. Of course that was for only an hour and the servers were down. The entire night the servers were up and down, mostly down leaving the gaming public salivating for the chance to destroy the lords of evil. So was it worth it? I've manged to pummel my way threw about half the game with my monk and have fallen in love. Diablo 3 has a compelling story, tons of weapons, armor, and skills to gather up. The graphics are top notch and the new auction house gives players a way to earn some extra money. People have given the game some bad reviews due to the fact of all the technical problems on launch day, and the fact that the real money section off the auction house wont be up until the 22 of the this month. The simple fact is that if you'v...

Baldur's Gate, Diablo 3 and Mass Effect 3

So it's been a big day in the gaming world with some great news that everybody can dance a jig of glee about. Baldur's Gate Remix First is that Atari, Wizards of the Coast, and Overhaul Games have announced they are in the process of making enhanced editions of Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate 2. Now for the young this might not mean much but for those of us that have been playing games for awhile this is epic news. The Baldur's gate games were some of the best RPG gaming ever created. Baldur's Gate was release in 1998, in a dungeons and dragons setting you took the role of a character out to find why and who was after you. Along the way you completed quests, befriended companions that you ended up growing close to, all across dozens of maps. This game was as close to an open world as you were getting back then. I can't wait to see what comes of these enhancement editions of the game. If you want more information you can visit the official site here . Di...

More Blizzard Delays!

As if we haven't been waiting long enough guess what blizzard has pushed back some of the most anticipated games for the year. Diablo 3 which was expected to launch early February, ya kinda late for that now right, has been pushed back to the April-June period of this year. After the game has been pushed back again and again I almost expect not to see Diablo until Christmas time, lets just hope I'm wrong. Along the same lines Blizzard also has said that only one other game will be released this year. That leaves us with  hope for either StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm and WoW's Mists of Pandaria. But that's if all goes according to plan and as that hasn't worked out very well lately I wouldn't hold my breath for either. I guess it's better to holdoff on the releases if they aren't working right rather than release something that is broken. The WoW wait isn't so bad since it feels like we only just got the last expansion but Diablo we've bee...

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Review

So here are my first impressions about the ps3 version of Kingdoms that was released today. So far the combat is great. Fast paced, and easy to use. An odd thing though, no matter what weapon your carrying and using you can just bust out your shield. While it comes in handy at times I didn't think it made much sense. Other than that I'm having a blast hacking and slashing my way threw monsters and villains with a great selection of weapons. You get a special power to rewrite fate, it's like a super mode, god mode what ever you want it call it. The world slows down and you do brutal damage. You can turn it on as soon as the purple meter gets full and unleash your  fury, sooo much fun. Their are great RPG elements as well. A ton of quests everywhere, people to just sit and talk with and different professions to spend your time messing around with between battles. The world seems to be huge and give you plenty of space to explore. In the beginning you have a chance to cust...

Exciting Titles for 2012

So another year is a upon us and just like every year their are games that we are all waiting for with a glint in our eyes and drool running from our mouths... or maybe that's just me. So here's my little list of games That I'm looking forward to in no particular order. Diablo 3 Bioshock Infinite The Last Guardian Metal Gear Solid Rising: Revengeance Prey 2 Darksiders 2 Mass Effect 3 StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm BorderLands 2 Most of these games will be for multiple systems and a lot of them don't even have absolute release dates. So we can only hope they come out this year, but I'm trying to be more optimistic so yes we will be able to pick them this year.  Fingers Crossed.

The Great Week of Patches

So the great week of patches has come and gone with both ups and downs. The first WoW came out with the long awaited 4.3 patch. The patch included transmogrification, void storage, a raid finder, 3 new 5-man dungeons, new raid content including the defeat of Deathwing, and last but not least The Darkmoon Faire. The new 5-mans I thought were a blast and I've enjoyed them a lot more than the Zul dungeons. I haven't had a chance to use the raid finder or run the new raids because of my lack of gear but should be able to by the end of the week, not that I'm very good at the entire world of raiding but oh well, right. As for the Darkmoon Faire I've had a lot of fun running around playing all the little mini games. It's also a great place to level everything every profession you can think of. There have been some problems however. I made a warlock for giggles and can't delete him, it tells me that he has a heirloom or important item on him even though his mailbox, i...

4.3 confirmed for tuesday!

That's right the time we've all been waiting for the mystical, magical, 4.3 patch will be launching tomorrow, I dance a jig of glee. On a completely separate note I've made a store online showing off some of my art work and the best way to tell the world is threw my blog! Here's a Link take your time and check it out. You'll have the time WoW is going to be down for awhile with the patch coming out.

WoW, anybody else miss the old days?

I started to play WoW just before Burning Crusade was release, just to give a point of reference. I recently decided to start another alt, I get the craving every couple of months. This time I made an Orc warlock. I've only ever had a little experience with locks back in the day.  I quickly wound up at level 10 even with no boa's, I bought my skills and went back to questing but had this feeling that something was missing. Eventually it all came to me.  Everything so far was just given to me. Flashback a couple expansions. In order to pick up the next summon, their was a quest. Yup a person had a story, his story included me completing a task for him and what would he do? Grant me the knowledge for this summon.  The whole experience made me feel more apart of the world around me and most of all, I had fun. Everything is now handed to us now. Where their used to be quests for  new spells and gear now it's just handed to us. Where we used to have to go find quests ...

A look at the upcoming Final Fantasy Type-0

I'm a super Final Fantasy fan and while I think the series has lost its direction, I have been looking forward to final Fantasy Type-0. I found this video of game play if you want to check it out.   And if you want to check out the site that I found the video  here's a link . This one looks like more of an action rpg along the lines of Kingdom Hearts. Still no release date so we'll all just have to sit around drooling over the little scraps they choose to throw us. Also along the lines of Final Fantasy we have we have the re-release of  of Final Fantasy 5 and the all mythical Final Fantasy 6 on the Playstation Network, and Final Fantasy 13-2 will be released on both he PS3 and Xbox 360 January 31, 2012.

WoW new commercial, can you say Chuck Norris?

That's right the new WoW commercial is here for our enjoyment. When they got Mr. T to come out with his commercial the people cheered, so who could be next? Who could top Mr. T, oh that's right you know you were thinking it, CHUCK NORRIS! If you want to check out the commercial here's a link to the youtube page with it. Wow commercial link   So now that we've had a commercial with Chuck Norris, who do you want to see next? As always I look forward to your comments, that is if somebody left one I'm sure I would like it.

Things to do while waiting for WoW 4.3

So everybody is on the edge of their seat waiting for patch 4.3 to finally get released but it's still not here. I was really thought it would be here by now but hey I can't be right all the time. So by now you've run those pesky raids and TB is just a memory, what's left to do? Here's a list of things I've been up to. Finishing those extra professions. Fishing, first aid, archeology, cooking are all things that I was always planning on doing at some point and just never got around to it. Mount and Pet collecting. Their are tons of pet and mounts to collect all over the world.  Most of them take mind numbing amount of time and will having you beating your head against the keyboard to get but it's all worth it when that stranger comes up to you says " you must be crazy to go fishing for that long for a turtle." Gathering old raid gear. Since we are getting that transmogrification, now's the time to pick up all that super slick gear from days...

How To Kill A Dragon In Skyrim

If you're anything like me and you spend your time in light armor and a one handed sword while your wondering Skyrim, you might be having problems taking out those dragons to get souls for your shouts. Here's a great guide If found you might want to check out. How To Kill A Dragon In Skyrim

PETA hates mario?

So wondering around the internet thinking of who I really want to be in Skyrim (I'm addicted) and I come across this article on ign.com. Yup that's right PETA hates Mario. In the newest Mario game Mario can transform into a Tanooki. PETA saw the tanooki suit as telling kids it's alright to wear animals. PETA went so far as to make a website condemning this, including a little cartoon with a blood soaked Mario wearing the skin of a tanooki and holding it's removed face, and made a little game where a skinned tanooki chases Mario trying to get his skin back. PETA might have taken some time to think about all this though. Mario doesn't actually skin anything. He absorbs a super leaf which transforms him into tanooki Mario. He becomes one, he doesn't kill any.  This is just like when he would eat a super carrot back in the day and he would sprout bunny ears, he didn't go around cutting off the tails and ears of bunnies.

Zelda, Chrono, Final Fantasy Oh my!

While many people have guessed that the next Zelda game to put onto the 3ds would be Majora's Mask, creators of the series have said that they want to make a brand new game. Also Miyamao has said that he wants to remake A Link to the Past. As a Legend of Zelda fan I really don't care which one they put on there as long as we get another one. I've had a lot of fun playing Ocarina of Time for the first time and look forward to playing any others I can get my hands on. Also on the Playstation Network fan favorite Chrono Cross has been released for download. For the Final Fantasy fans out there, Final Fantasy 5 will be released on November 22 and the  super long awaited Final Fantasy 6 will be on the network on December 3. Final Fantasy 6 is thought to be the best Final Fantasy Game of all time, personally Final Fantasy 7 was my favorite. What do you think, do you have a favorite Final Fantasy game? Let the world know which one is the best by leaving a comment down below.

Skyrim Review

Maybe I'm biased but I've been playing Elder Scroll games since way back in Morrowind and I've loved each and every one. This game is no different. Skyrim moves the Elder Scrolls world ahead since our last adventure in Oblivion 200 years. We are now far to the north in the land of Skyrim. The graphics are stunning , but only if you have the system of run them. I have a mediocre laptop to run it and even with everything running on it's lowest setting  I still experience random bouts of lag. I'm not sure about this because I can run Rage and Deus Ex without any problems at all.  Just incase somebody has ideas on how this might be stopped my system specs are : Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Intel Core 2 Duo CPU  2.53GHz 2.53GHz 6GB Ram GeForce GTX 260M Still the first time a dragon lands in front of you, you can almost feel the fire blowing over the top you. The combat has changed since that last game as well. You can now assign a weapon to each hand or a spe...

2 million people leave WoW

A lot of people have recently been commenting about how WoW has been looking a little empty lately, and for a good reason too. Close to 2 million people have left the game. Is this a sign of the death of WoW?  After all those people left before the major content patch of 4.3 and after Blizzcons announcement of the next expansion pack Mists of Pandaria. Do people really hate pandas that much?   I personally don't think so. I really don't think all the people that have left will stay gone. I've always found it amazing how many people "quit" and a month later they are waiting for a FL run. Another reason people could be leaving is because they are tired of paying a monthly fee. WoW now has a lot of competition, not by content standards,WoW still rules the roost, but by the simple fact that their are so many free to play games now.  DC Universe , Lord of the Rings are two big examples that recently have gone free, and companies like Nexon , Perfect World , and GPo...
