A Spore Nerd Corner

I was just checking my e-mail when an alert from IGN popped up, a rumor has surfaced that Sony has a patent on technology that will block second hand games. On December 9th Sony filed for a patent for new tech that will link game disks to a users account. Their will be contactless tag, the system will read when the disk is first played. In order to play the game, the code that the game has saved and the one stored in the system will have to match or the game wont play. So what does this mean? Well for companies like Gamestop where a large portion of their profits came from used games, they will in effect be going out of business. As for companies that rent games, they're going to have a horrible time doing any business as well. If they can do any at all. But what about the everyday gamer?  I know I've let my brother  test out games that I've bought to see if he liked them before he went out and bought them, and he's done the same for me. So where we go, what do you want first. The good news or the bad news? Oh what the heck lets start down and work our way up. After all it's always better to end on a happy note. Bioshock Infinite, the game we have been waiting for what seems like years has been pushed back yet again. This time it's been pushed back to March 26, 2013.  Ken Levine, the creative director told IGN this time it's been put back for "primarily polish and bug fixing." He also said that they could have shipped the game the game this February but it just wasn't what the fans deserve. At this point I think they may be building this game up for nothing but a failure. I know I've been looking forward to the game for awhile now and when I keep hearing about all the polish they are putting on, I'm expecting one darn good game. It's going to have a lot to live up to. Now for the good news. Another game that's been pushed back a couple time now has finally reached the Itune...

Were you one of those people that rushed out and grabbed one of those super amazing Ipad 2? Well get ready to do it again! That's right according to Bloomberg is saying that the ever better Ipad 3 will be released in March. I know Apple usually announces it's products on it's on in some super show and (rumor yet again) is that Apple will have that show in a week or so. So whats this new Ipad supposed to have that is supposed to make us get rid of our  last one? The new Ipad is supposed to have a high-definition screen, quad-core processor and support for LTE networks making it able to transfer data even faster than before. All super cool? of course it is. Am i going to rush out and grab one, no. I'm still really happy with my Ipad 2, and to be honest it cost way to much for me to just say good-bye.  Apple seems to come out with some super great update every year that ends up costing all of us fans hundreds of dollars.
