FarCry 3, Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty or Hunting tips

When you start FarCry 3, you're limited in how much you can carry. Not just in your ruck sack but in how many weapons your can equip, how much ammo you can carry and how my syringes you can carry. So one of the first things you should be doing is getting some hides and start crafting new bags. So here are some hunting tips to get you started in your bag crafting fun: Pelts and animals can't destroyed, so if you want to bust our your rpg and take out that shark go for it. When you are doing the hunting quests, make sure to use the right weapon.  Bring plenty of animal repellant. Animals like the big cats will try to hunt you and their is nothing worse than wondering around trying to find a tiger and instead getting eaten by one. Don't get in the water with the sharks. Go to the beach with either a bow or a your rpg and blast them from the safety of the shore. Skin the shark then remember to get back out of the water! All the skins for the highest level of the bags are

Borderlands 2 Mechromancer Tips

Shortly after the release of Borderlands 2, a fifth playable character was released. That character was Gaige the Mechromancer. Her special ability is to summon a Deathtrap, a flying robot pet that take out Gaiges her opponents. Her three talent trees are Best Friends Forever, Little Big Trouble, and Ordered Chaos. Best Friends Forever is probably the most popular skill tree to take for Gaige and was designed to make life a little easier for the player. With skills like Take Close Enough, that allows bullets to ricochet off just about anything and automatically start heading towards enemies, making the game a bit more forgiving. Little Big Trouble is more about giving added shock damage. Skills like One Two Boom Deathtrap fires off a giant electric orb, once you shoot it (which can be a problem) it causes a major electrical explosion can take out large groups of enemies quickly.  The last skill in the tree, Make it Sparkle, lets you shoot Deathtrap with an elemental weapon, giving

Borderlands 2 Salvador Tips

Today I'm going to write about Salvador the Gunzerker. Salvador is what would be referred to in traditional games as the berserker.  He's the guy that goes in with guns blazing and takes everybody out. If you're the more up-close and personal kinda fps player this is the guy to go for. Salavadors' special ability is Gunzerking. Gunzerking lets you bust out two weapons at the same time and take out everything in your way. While with other classes the cool down for your skills isn't that bad the Gunzerking is one of the higher ones with a 42 second wait until you can use it again. As with all the other toons you get your choice of 3 skill trees to buff up Salvador. Gun Lust- this skill tree is more about reloading, changing weapons and making the guns use more potent. Rampage - this tree is more about your ammo, recovering and capacity, not to mention lowering cool down time and making the actual gunzeking last longer. Brawn - the tank class making you toughe

Borderlands 2 Maya Tips

This is the third installment in my Borderlands 2 guides. I've covered Axton, and Zer0 so far and now it's time for the beauty of the wastelands, Maya. Maya is the Siren class for Borderlands. Lilith was a Siren of the original game. Maya's special skill is Phaselock. It brings enemies into the air locking them down for you to take out. As you gain levels the Phaselock ability will gain different additional powers. Everything from giving back some health, increasing critical and hit damage, not to forget lighting enemies on fire. Tips: The Harmony skill tree has abilities that bring back health and is great for playing with friends. The Cataclysm tree is just what is sounds like. Your Phaselock ability will have the added elemental effect. Phaselock is a great ability for setting up sniper shots. Always carry a sniper rifle. The Motion tree is great for handling large groups of enemies. With skills like Converge that will suck a bunch of enemies together setting t

Borderlands 2 Zer0 tips

Zer0 from Borderlands 2 is the super nifty looking assassin. His special power is called deception, Zero turns invisible for a short period and places a decoy out, so he can get close behind an enemy and use his melee attack for a devastating attack bonus. His three skill trees are Sniping for accuracy and critical hit, cunning which is mostly for melee but also helps with sniping, and Bloodshed which is more about giving buffs after each kill. Tips Ninja Vanish! Your Deception skill isn't just a great way to take down enemies. When you feel the world tumbling out of control pop your Deception skill and run for it. Sniper Rifles are your friend. Zer0  is an assassin, getting yourself in the middle of every fight isn't always the best way to go. Sometimes it's better to sit back and take out your enemies from afar. Good skills for a Sniping: Bore , your shots pierce through enemies if it hits another target after it's first it gains a massive damage bonus. Critica

Borderlands 2 Axton Tips

Hey everybody I decided to continue with Borderlands 2 by giving tips on each of the playable classes. So for this blog I'm going to start of with Axton. Axton for those that don't know is the soldier. He actually reminds me a lot of Roland from Borerlands 1, as he summons torrents  to help you take out his opponents. The Tips: Use your ability's. That torrent is going to save you in all sorts of tricky situations and it's not like it's not going to recharge so bust out that bad boy. Watch where you put your torrent. If you place a rocket torrent to close to a wall the rockets will hit the wall and  nothing else. I know how much we all hate walls but their are more important targets. Your torrent goes after whoever is closest. This gives you a chance to pick your target better. If the torrent is going to take out what it's shooting at before it can get to you, you should go after bad guys further away. Offense or Defense. If you are more upfront offens

Borderlands 2 Tricks of the Trade

Borderlands 2 isn't your average fps and treating it as one will leave you in the dust while all your borerlands buddies grab the goodies. So here are  some great tips to put you in the good gear and lay your enemies in the dust. Where's the money? The answer, EVERYWHERE! If you want to make good money pick everything up, open ever chest, break everything and anything. You can sell and any money is good money. Want to find the good stuff to sell? Go exploring! The further afield you go wondering the better the gear you're going to find and what you can't use you can sell. Where is the Really good gear? Every so often they will post codes up that you can enter into the game to collect more of those keys that open the chest in the travel station in  Solitude. The Best Exp? While wondering around is go

Gamers rage over rumors of Sony patent!

I was just checking my e-mail when an alert from IGN popped up, a rumor has surfaced that Sony has a patent on technology that will block second hand games. On December 9th Sony filed for a patent for new tech that will link game disks to a users account. Their will be contactless tag, the system will read when the disk is first played. In order to play the game, the code that the game has saved and the one stored in the system will have to match or the game wont play. So what does this mean? Well for companies like Gamestop where a large portion of their profits came from used games, they will in effect be going out of business. As for companies that rent games, they're going to have a horrible time doing any business as well. If they can do any at all. But what about the everyday gamer?  I know I've let my brother  test out games that I've bought to see if he liked them before he went out and bought them, and he's done the same for me. Demo disks and downloadable
