I've recently started playing Final Fantasy XIV. I've played almost every FF game made and figured it was only a matter of time before I started this one too. Anyway I've been having a blast, started off as a lancer because Dragoons have always been a favorite class in the past, but then I saw they had Ninjas, and let's be honest, nothing beats a Ninja. So yeah, yeah here's a screen shot of my new addiction.

Pillars of Eternity (PoE) has to be some of the most fun I've had in awhile. PoE screams of D&D and the old Baldur's Gate games. I haven't seen games made in this style for so long now it's nice to see what is hopefully a comeback. The character creator had a ton of options to pick from. It took me forever to make up my mind on what I wanted to play as. While a lot of games give you character options that don't actually effect the game, in PoE I've started two characters and both have had slight changes in the conversations and actions I can take. The combat can be changed from a more active combat, where you jump from character to character making the game more hectic and difficult. Or you can go more old school, being able to pause and unpause as is needed giving you more control over what's going on. I can't tell you how much fun I've been having with this game so far and I can't wait to get further into it. If you like old school RP...

That's right another mmo has dropped the fee and decided to free, or at least basically free. Tera Online has decided to drop it's subscription fees this February. All the game content will be free and the Tera will make money by charging people to customize their toons with costumes. Also an elite status will be available to buy which will allow 30 days of extra dungeon rewards, bonus daily quests along with an elite mount and in-game store discounts. If you already are playing Tera you'll be considered a founder. That gives players 8 character slots, 4 bank slots, a special mount and the title "Founder" For those of us just jumping into the world of Tera we will be greeted with new battlegrounds and dungeons. Oh Yeah! So finally we get another drop date for the Guild Wars 2. OK so we've had more than a couple release dates that have sent us running to the store to pre order this upcoming free to play mmorpg  that we've been waiting for, for years now. Not that I've been slightly annoyed or anything. Anyway you want to know the darn date, 8-28-12 . That's right August 28th of this year. So clear your calenders, and save up your sick days Guild Wars 2 is coming!

So here are my first impressions about the ps3 version of Kingdoms that was released today. So far the combat is great. Fast paced, and easy to use. An odd thing though, no matter what weapon your carrying and using you can just bust out your shield. While it comes in handy at times I didn't think it made much sense. Other than that I'm having a blast hacking and slashing my way threw monsters and villains with a great selection of weapons. You get a special power to rewrite fate, it's like a super mode, god mode what ever you want it call it. The world slows down and you do brutal damage. You can turn it on as soon as the purple meter gets full and unleash your  fury, sooo much fun. Their are great RPG elements as well. A ton of quests everywhere, people to just sit and talk with and different professions to spend your time messing around with between battles. That's right the time we've all been waiting for the mystical, magical, 4.3 patch will be launching tomorrow, I dance a jig of glee. I'm a super Final Fantasy fan and while I think the series has lost its direction, I have been looking forward to final Fantasy Type-0. This one looks like more of an action rpg along the lines of Kingdom Hearts. Still no release date so we'll all just have to sit around drooling over the little scraps they choose to throw us. Also along the lines of Final Fantasy we have we have the re-release of  of Final Fantasy 5 and the all mythical Final Fantasy 6 on the Playstation Network, and Final Fantasy 13-2 will be released on both he PS3 and Xbox 360 January 31, 2012.

That's right the new WoW commercial is here for our enjoyment. When they got Mr. T to come out with his commercial the people cheered, so who could be next? So everybody is on the edge of their seat waiting for patch 4.3 to finally get released but it's still not here. I was really thought it would be here by now but hey I can't be right all the time. So by now you've run those pesky raids and TB is just a memory, what's left to do? Here's a list of things I've been up to. Finishing those extra professions. Fishing, first aid, archeology, cooking are all things that I was always planning on doing at some point and just never got around to it. Mount and Pet collecting. Their are tons of pet and mounts to collect all over the world.  Most of them take mind numbing amount of time and will having you beating your head against the keyboard to get but it's all worth it when that stranger comes up to you says " you must be crazy to go fishing for that long for a turtle." Gathering old raid gear. Since we are getting that transmogrification, now's the time to pick up all that super slick gear from days...

On November 6th the Steam service relised that the hacking the happened didn't just effect their forums but may have gotten into the actual steam client. While many people have guessed that the next Zelda game to put onto the 3ds would be Majora's Mask, creators of the series have said that they want to make a brand new game. Also Miyamao has said that he wants to remake A Link to the Past. As a Legend of Zelda fan I really don't care which one they put on there as long as we get another one. I've had a lot of fun playing Ocarina of Time for the first time and look forward to playing any others I can get my hands on. Also on the Playstation Network fan favorite Chrono Cross has been released for download. For the Final Fantasy fans out there, Final Fantasy 5 will be released on November 22 and the  super long awaited Final Fantasy 6 will be on the network on December 3. Final Fantasy 6 is thought to be the best Final Fantasy Game of all time, personally Final Fantasy 7 was my favorite. What do you think, do you have a favorite Final Fantasy game? Maybe I'm biased but I've been playing Elder Scroll games since way back in Morrowind and I've loved each and every one. This game is no different. Skyrim moves the Elder Scrolls world ahead since our last adventure in Oblivion 200 years. We are now far to the north in the land of Skyrim. The graphics are stunning , but only if you have the system of run them. I have a mediocre laptop to run it and even with everything running on it's lowest setting  I still experience random bouts of lag. So the day that we have all been waiting for is finally happening tomorrow, Skyrim launches. We finally get to find out if all the vids, pics, and articles that we've all main lined into our heads live up to our expectations. So what great things are we waiting for: Dragons , lots and lots of dragons. Dragons in the air, dragons on the ground and oh did I mention dragons. We get to roam the landing killing dragons collecting powers from them. I think this is every fan of Elder Scrolls dream. Duel wield. This is the first Elder scrolls game that you can duel wield not just two, one handed weapons but two spells as well. You can mix and match spell combinations to produce different effects.
