During the Steam sale I decided to pick up Valdis Story: Abyssal City. It's an indie game made by Endless Fluff Games. You play as either Wyatt, a guy with a sword, or as Reina, a monk. For 40 years now a war has been raging between Angles and Demons and the population of humans who are caught in the middle, are slowly dwindling and are being forced to choose a side. As you wonder the world you will gather new gear, skills and find friends that will aid you in your struggle to end the war. The game reminds me of one of the original Metroid games or the early Castlevania games. If you want to check it out you can pick it up on the official website, www.valdisstory.com/ or you can pick it up on Steam. The game is a ton of fun to play and worth checking it out.

The end of the year is quickly approaching and the gaming industry is pushing out news like it just took some kind of laxative. Blizzard has announced the release date for Reaper of Souls, the expansion to Diablo 3.  March 25 2014. The expansion is going to go for $39.99 for the Digital Standard Edition and $59.99 for the Digital Deluxe Edition.

So it finally looks like the Wii U has a game that might be good. Hyrule Warriors, while it doesn't look like it's going to be part of the Legend of Zelda story, is going to take Link and put him in a Dynasty Warriors setting. The game looks like it will bring all the skills, gear and iconic enemies we've grown to know over the years of Legend of Zelda. It looks like the Wii U has finally come up with a game that looks pretty fun. The game doesn't have a release date yet but is supposed to be announced in 2014.

If you're anything like me you were really looking forward to the last Star Wars game only to have it vanish leaving us all with that giant light saber shaped hole in our hearts. But good news is here! disney Interactive let out some info on a new Star Wars game, Star Wars: Attack Squadrons. Star Wars: Attack Squadrons is going to be free-to-play space combat game for the PC. It will let players fly popular ships from the Star Wars world, and will support dogfights for up to 16 players at a time. It is being developed by Area 52 Games along with Disney Interactive and LucasArts. The closed beta is supposed to start of some time in early 2014. So it's the opening weekend of the second of the Hobbit movies, The Desolation of Smaug. The first thing you should know is if you're going just to see the book  put to film you're going to be disappointing. It isn't and exact copy of the book, just like the first one, things have been added to fill out the story. Now that that's out of the way, this movie was amazing!  The entire movie I was on the edge of my seat with my mouth open. The Hobbit does what every movie is supposed to do and sucks you in and doesn't let you go for the entire time. The action will have you gasping as if you were there yourself, and the special effects will blow you away. Smaug the dragon has to be one of the coolest dragons in any movie in the history of movies and Benedict Cumberbatch was the perfect voice for Smaug. I had so much fun watching this movie I can't wait to see it again and can't tell you enough how great it was. Go see this movie!

Gearbox recently let us know about the next part of the Headhunter pack for Borderlands 2, How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day. This story will take place in Gingerton where Marcus will ask us to investigate a train full of guns that are missing. Along with fighting traditional enemies you'll get to  fight evil snowmen and the boss Mr. Tinder Snowflake. This is the third of the headhunter packs along with Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler and TK Baha's Bloody  Harvest. It will be released December 17th for $2.99.

That's right a new Borderlands game has been announced but it's not what you're expecting... at least it wasn't what I was expecting. The new Borderlands game will be made Telltale games, and only getting consulting done by Gearbox. Telltale has made games like The Wolf Among Us, and the Walking Dead games and this one game is supposed to be along the same lines. The game is supposed to include the the vault hunters we already know along with other characters from the Borderlands universe. The episodic Borderlands series "Tales from the Borderlands" is supposed to be released sometime in 2014.

Warlords of Draenor Inventory Improvements That's right, we've all been there. It seems that no matter how big your bags are, they're never big enough.  Between PvE gear, PvP gear, all those toys you've found while wondering around, heirlooms, and everything you've picked up for your professions you're bags are full and just then you find some abstract item you've been hunting for, for the last five years. But with the next expansion Blizzard has saved us from our woes. Collections have been added for your Heirlooms and Toys. This makes it's only little menu for each of the collections, making everything truely account bound and easier to move them from toon to toon without having to mail them. Quest items will no long take up space in your inventory but are being moved into a special Quest space. Bags can be set to only carry some items, armor, consumables, and so on so you don't have to keep hunting threw each bag to find something. You'

Gearbox has let loose with their second  Headhunter DLC, the first one being TK Baha's Bloody Harvest. The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler, Mr. Torgue is hosting a Hunger Games like tournament on Pandora where you have to take out the Wattle Gobbler. Anyway this second Headhunter DLC is set to release November 26 on PC, Playstation, and Xbox 360 for $2.99.

My brother and I went and saw the new Thor movie. I wasn't a big fan of the original movie but I liked The Avengers so I figured what the heck, I don't have anything else to do. Maybe it's because I went in not expecting much, but I actually really enjoyed it. The the movie was fast paced. The action was good, and they knew when to have those funny moments when they needed it. One thing I will say is that if you've been watching the commercials and the trailer then you've seen most of the movie. Even with that though I had a lot of fun. Marvel has done an amazing job of opening up the Marvel Universe to everybody from super comic fans to the people that eat breath and sleep comics. This movie ties into everything from the first Thor movie, which in so many series they tend to forget past movies, to the Avengers.  They also continued the pattern of ending the movie with a little clip that will tie into future marvel movies, already getting people guessing on wh

 I wasn't sure about the rash of Blizzard related releases that are coming. I mean really Heroes of the Storm was just another moba game, sure they can say it's something else but let's be honest it's another moba game. Anyway I saw that their website was up and I took a peek.... and now I'm almost. No I take that back, I am giddy. The trailer had  me dancing around in my chair, I mean the chance to play as all the heroes I've basically grown up with makes me feel warm and tingly. Go take a peek here !

Who know the loot hunt would continue, but it did. YAY! For the bonus hunt we have "The Sorcerer's Daughter." You can find her in Lair of Infinite Agony, sounds like a nice place. It's one of the last places you visit in Tiny Tina's DLC. She'll drop the a machine gun "Kerblaster." The Community challenge is a bit different for this one, they just want you to take the Kerblaster and... well blast stuff. Killing anything will contribute to the community challenge, so it's a pretty easy for everybody to help out. Happy Hunting

Blizzcon is here and we already have some great news..... Well I think it's great news, it seems like great news. Maybe I'm just being optimistic but optimism is a good thing sometimes. Anyway we heard about the new WoW expansion coming out, Warlords of Draenor.  On their new website, linked here, you can check out the new trailer and news on the new content. That's right we're right at the end now. For today's hunt we are after "Badassasaurus Rex." He's one of the final bosses in Torgues DLC. It's impossible to miss the guy, he's in the arena and he should drop a sniper rifle "Cobra" along with the "Skyrocket" your reward for completing this weeks Community Goals. Today we are back to the Mines of Avarice.  The target is the "Gold Golem," found in the far eastern edge of the map. He'll drop a pistol "Grog Nozzle." Take that pistol and use it for the community hunt. The hunt is for Giant Skeletons today. You can find them in the graveyards in the Immortal woods.

Today we are hunting Warlord Turge, he can be found in the Mines of Avarice and will drop the "Lascaux" for the community hunt. The community goal is for today are "Orczerkers."  You can find them all over the place in the Tiny Tina DLC. So you shouldn't have any troubles finding them at all.

While  marvel is rebooting a lot of their heroes, they've announced that soon a new Ms. Marvel will be hitting their pages. So what's different? This Ms. Marvel is going to be a 16-year-old Muslim girl, Kamala Khan. That makes her the first protagonist to be Muslim and a woman in the Marvel universe. I guess this is making some people uncomfortable, but comics have always prided themselves on exploring the social issues of the day. Everything from war, race, and now religion. This is supposed to show an authentic perspective of what it's like to be a young Muslim-American woman, not only learning how to control the new power she's discovered she has but also the expectations of her family, adolescence, and how people respond to her faith. The new Ms. Marvel will be able to transform different parts of her body to different shapes and sizes and will apparently be able to actually shape shift herself later in the series. For today's hunt we are after "Son of Mothrakk,"  he's in the Wildlife Exploitation Preserve in the same place where *Spoilers* you killed bloodwing.  Anyway you'll pick up the "Bone Shredder" for today community goal. The community goal is to hunt down "Bikers." They are the most common enemy found around the the Torgue DLC, so you shouldn't have any problems finding them.

That's right we're already three days into the last week of the Loot Hunt competition. Today's hunt is the big bad " King Mong ."  You can find King Mong in the Eridium Blight , in the south eastern section of of the map. He'll drop a gun with the name " Bunny " in it for you to complete the community hunt for the day. Today's community hunt is part of Tiny Tina's DLC. You have to go find yourself some Dwarves to take out.

Tonight like every other Sunday night I flicked the channel over to CBS to watch the new episode of "The Mentalist' and what did I find? Oh look, a repeat! They've spent over a week hyping this episode only to put on a repeat. What's that deal you may ask, FOOTBALL! oh boy... We keep hearing how so many shows that are really good, popular shows just don't have the ratings to keep them going. The truth of the matter is, is that networks  keep moving shows around, almost hiding them, randomly showing repeats, and generally just frustrating fans to the point where they give up on finding the show and just stop watching. Networks get your act  together!

For the second day of the last week of hunting  our target is going to be " Dukino's Mom ." You can find her in Lynchwood in the center of the map after you drop down an elevator shaft. She's big, she's scary and she's tough so be careful. Dukino's Mom will drop " Logan's gun ." For the community hunt take Logan's gun and go hunting Treants . You can find them in most of the areas of Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep DLC.

It's the last week of the loot hunt, so lets get to it! This weeks hunt is brought to us by Tiny Tina and Torgue YEAAAAAHHHHHH! Anyway  to get this weeks worth of hunting started the first target will is "Motor Momma," she can be found on the Southern Raceway and will drop the shotgun "Teeth." So just take that gun and for the community hunt go and take down Feeler Threshers. A good place to find them is in the Caustic Caverns.

Today's the end of the third week of the Loot Hunt. For today's target we'll be hunting " Rouge " in Candlerakk's Crag . you can find him in the southern most section of the Candlerakk's Crag and he'll drop the " Baby Maker ." If you've completed all the community goals for the week he'll also drop the " Skullmasher " sniper rifle. Happy Hunting.

With the recent sale of Batman Arkham Asylum on Steam I figured I would give it a shot. In the past superhero games have been, to put it nicely, lacking. Batman Arkham Asylum however has reset my exceptions. This game not only has nice graphics, but a good, easy to use combat system that actually makes you feel like Batman, and a good amount of gadgets that also help along that Batman feeling. The voice acting was amazing, and story moves along a good pace.  Their are tons of extras to find, some helping along the back story of the asylum and some that are just for us Batman fans to geek out on.  Along with the story, their are different challenge modes that you can unlock where you have timed missions to take out a certain amount of enemies. Their are some not so great things though. Sometimes the camera is in the worst position possible, especially in combat, and you'll find yourself fighting to get it where you can see what you're fighting. Also the some of the items that

So the end of the week is drawing near and today's bounty is for "Saturn."  He'll, well I think it's a he it's a robot so we'll go with he. Anyway he'll drop a "Morningstar" sniper rifle. You can find Saturn in the Arid Nexus - Badlands, in the north eastern section of the map. For the final community hunt for the week are "Hyperion Snipers," you wont run into them until later in main story and in places that are highly populated by Hyperion personnel.

That's right another day, another hunt and some darn good loot. Today's target for the Borderlands Loot Hunt is " Woundspike ," he can be found in the Adorton Station . He can be found if you got to the north east. He'll be dropping a " twister " shotgun for you to complete the community goal. For today's community goal you'll be hunting " Torgue Thrashers ." I have yet to find any information on where they are, heck I can't even find them on the wiki page... So if you have any info on where they are please drop me a line.

Today's Loot hunt target in Borderlands 2, has been announced. Today's target is McNally . He can be found in The Dust as you head south. McNally will drop " Lady Fist ," for you to complete the community hunt. Today's community hunt is for Loaders . Their are at least a dozen different kinds of Loaders and they can be found all over the world. Happy hunting

Greetings fellow hunters or Borderlands 2. Today's hunt is for Donkey Mong . You can find him in the Eridium Blight along the south west border. He'll be dropping the rocket launcher " Hive ." For the Community goal, take "hive" and go wipe out some Badass Savages . The Badass Savage is another enemy that appears in Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt DLC.

For today's bounty, we will be out hunting Arizona . Arizona can be found in Hunter's Grotto and should drop a shotgun " Landscaper ." Hunter's Grotto is the first location in Sir Hammerlock's DLC, Big Game Hunt. For the Community hunt we are after Stalkers. You can find a bunch of Stalkers in the Highlands , especially in caves.

So another week has started... at least in the  Borderlands Loot Hunt. So where are we starting this week?  The first target is is Henry . Henry is a stalker in the Highlands and will drop a Gunerang . The first community goal are Spiderant Kings .Spiderant Kings. You can find them in The Dust just outside of Ellie's compound. This weeks end of the week reward is a sniper rifle "Skullmasher." Happy hunting.

The Borderlands 2 Loot Hunt continues with today's bounty, The Sheriff . The Sheriff can be found in the northern part of Lynchwood , and will drop an Octo shotgun. Since it's the end of the week all the community goals are complete so just keep on taking out The Sheriff until she drops the Fastball.  Happy hunting.

The new DLC for BioShock Infinite, Burial at Sea Episode 1 , finally has a release date and a price.  2K and Irrational have announced that the DLC will be released for all systems and PC on November 12th and will be cost $14.99 unless you bought the season pass in which case you've already paid for it. Burial at Sea is supposed to show Booker and Elizabeth in Rapture the night before it goes crazy. It's supposed to have new weapons and a new Plasmid. The rumor is, is that Episode 2 will let you play as Elizabeth for the first time.

That's right it's a new day and another bounty has been released for all of us hunters in the Borderlands 2 Loot Hunt. Today's bounty is DJ Tanner , he can be found in Magnys Lighthouse . This hunt is another that is in the Captain Scarlett DLC. He should drop the " Tidal Wave " that can be used for the community bounty. Speaking of the community bounty, today's community bounty is Sand Worm Queens . You may remember fighting one while doing the My life for a sand sandskiff mission  early on in the DLC. A Sand Worm Queen is what leaps out of the sand and swallows Lionel's engine capacitor. I found the best place to find the Sand Worm Queen in Wurmwater just north of the Rustyard exit in a crater. You actually have to hope out of your skiff for them to spawn and they don't always spawn. I have a picture of the location down below. Todays bounty (10.23.13) in the Borderlands 2 Loot Hunt is " Big Sleep ."  He can be found in Hayter's Folly which is  part of the Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty DLC. For the Community Goal the target are Cursed Pirates, another part of the Captain Scarlett DLC. They seem to be super rare so good luck find them.

For those of us doing the daily bounty for the Borderlands 2 Loot Hunt, the daily bounty is Mad Mike . He can be found in the Bloodshot Stronghold  and will drop a gun called Madhous! The community kill for the day are the Goliath . They can be found in Frostburn Canyon, Bloodshot Ramparts, Tundra Express, The Fridge, Thousand Cuts, Lynchwood, Sawtooth Cauldron, and The Dust. Gearbox has released news on the next DLC of Borderlands 2, T.K Baha's Bloody Harvest.  We first met T.K. Baha in the first Borderlands game, blind, missing a leg and brandishing a shotgun. Spoilers, later in the game we find him murdered by bandits, hanging in his shack by his prosthetic leg. In the expansion "The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned," T.K. make surprise reappearance as a zombie. Anyway, T.K. Baha's Bloody Harvest is set to be released October 22, 2013 on PS3, XBox 360, and steam for $2.99. The DLC is set to have new missions, multiple side quests and a boss battle against the Pumpkin Kingpin. Along the quests you'll get different candies that give you temporary buffs. This is supposed to be the first of Borderlands 2 headhunter packs, where you take out a boss which will give you it's wearable head and a new skin for your character.

Watch out Pokemon fans, watch where you save! Saving in and around the streets outside of the city Lumiose can make the game freeze up to the point where players will actually have to shut down the 3ds by holding down the power button. Once you turn the system back on and the game loads and then freezes again in an infinite loop. The bug has been found in not just the physical copy but in digital copies as well. Nintendo hasn't said anything yet but if I was you I wouldn't save around Lumiose.

So the new GTA has hit the systems and there is more of everything. More vehicles, guns, missions. Even the world is better than past GTA games, and lets face with more of everything you're going need something else, MONEY! So here's some tips to make it big in GTA V. Security Vans, when you're cruising around you will come across security vans that are loaded with cast. Simply take them off the road take out the driver and reap the rewards. Rob Stores. Just walk into the stores take the money from the cash registers and run for it before the cops show up. Knock over a Bank. this is one of the more risky ways to make money but also one of the more fun.  Before you try this one make sure you've got some guns, armor and a good get away vehicle because you're going to need them. Buy Businesses. Just like in the Saints Row and Assassins Creed games you can buy businesses, homes, and warehouses that will give you money over time with out you having to do anything.

So the end of an era has  just blasted over the waves with the final episode of Breaking Bad. I wont be giving out any spoilers so don't quake in fear. The final episode was what final episodes is supposed to be. It wasn't one of those endings that leaves the audience to guess at what happens to the character you've been watching for seasons. They did a beautiful job at finishing all the stories happening in the story leaving me with a sense of conclusion. I just hope other shows and movies catch a hint from this amazing finale and learn to finish their shows!

That's right one of the bigger things that was supposed to make Diablo 3 so amazing, the auction house along with the real money auction house, are going to be removed. Production director John Hight is quoted as saying: "...it became increasingly clear that despite the benefits of the AH system and the fact that many players around the world use it, it ultimately undermines Diablo's core game play: kill monsters to get cool loot."  With that in mind, we want to let everyone know that we've decided to remove the gold and real-money auction house system from Diablo III." The removal of the system is supposed to happen March 18, 2014. A new loot system is being developed along with the first expansion Reaper of Souls.

Tonight Fox premiered its new take on the story of the headless horseman, Sleepy Hollow.  The story takes place in now, with Ichabod Crane being brought back to life to help solve an ancient mystery from his own time. Along with him the Headless horseman comes back and goes on a killing spree. Witches, magic, demons all of which Ichobod and Lt. Abbie Mills, a local police officer, are going to have to face to stop the  Apocalypse. For a first episode I actually enjoyed myself. The hour just flew by. The acting was good and the story moved along nicely. The one thing that bugged me is as the show goes along suddenly the horseman goes from wielding a magic axe to suddenly having a pump action shotgun and an assault rifle. In a show with magic, demons and all sorts of crazy stuff going on you could have just left it with the axe, assault weapons is just kinda weird. The show has a lot of potential, for both good and bad, and I'll be tuning in for the next episode. Sleepy Hollow is

So next week the 5.4 patch for WoW drops and we all know what that means. A whole new set of gear, new raids and a bunch of changes to your class. So here are some things you are going to need to know. You need a  iLevel of 496 to get into the Siege of Orgrimmar iLevel of items dropped will be:                     LFR: 528                     Normal: 553                     Heroic: 566 New bonus roll money:                     Make sure you save up your 50 lesser charms of good fortune so you can trade them for  Warforged Seals. This will let you get bonus rolls in the next set of raids.

Today Nintendo told the world about their new hand held system, the 2DS. The 2DS looks like one of those really really old hand held games but has the same graphics as the 3DS minus the ability to show things in 3D. The 2DS will run all the 3DS games along with the the original DS games. It still has the WiFi and local multiplayer of the 3DS. Basically it's a 3Ds laying flat with no 3D. The 2DS is supposed to launch October 12th for about $129.00 in both a red or blue and will include a 4GB SD card. With all the next gen systems on the way I think this is Nintendo trying to not be forgotten but only time will tell if this is going to bring more people back to the Nintendo world.

Yesterday I went out and saw The Worlds End, the new Simon Pegg, Nick Frost comedy.  I was actually surprised, the movie wasn't in my local theater and I actually had to go for a bit of a drive to get a one that was playing and even there we were put in the very last  theater. You know the one, it's like  a quarter of the size of all the others, the one where movies that are almost done running are usually put. The theater was packed though. I guess the owners didn't expect many people to want to see the movie. Anyway back to the movie. The Worlds End is about Gary King and how he wants to relive better days by trying to go back to his home town and finish and epic pub-crawl that he and his group of friends had failed 20 years earlier.  Gary manages to convince his old group of friends to come back and attempt the pub-crawl, that would end at the worlds end, only to find out that something is pretty wrong with the town and becomes a struggle not only reconcile the groups

So to start the story here, the next Superman movie is supposed to be a duo of Batman and Superman. We have already heard that Henry Cavill is going to return as the man of steel but who is going to be Batman. Well today Director Zack Snyder has officially announced that the next dark knight is going to be played by Ben Affleck.... yeah. Did anybody else wince in pain when they read that? I know I did, but why you ask? The last super hero I can remember Affleck playing is the Dare Devil and if you saw that you movie you know exactly why you don't want him to be the next Batman. If you haven't seen that movie, count your blessings and pray that you are never exposed to it.  I've always thought that Affleck couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag and now we're doomed to suffer his acting again. Blizzard has told us the official release date for the 5.4 World of Warcraft is going to be  September 10th! So if you're anything like me and been looking forward to raiding Org and taking out Garrosh mark your calenders.

So it's official, on the 21th Blizzard announced the expansion for Diablo 3, Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls, at the Gamescom. With this expansion we will not only get another act added to the end of the game but a new character, the Crusader. That's right mark your calenders, be ready to call in sick, Sony has announced the official release date for the PS4. November 15 the PS4 will be  available in the U.S. and Canada. Sorry Europe you're going to have to wait until November 29 to full your PS4 fire.

If you haven't already heard the news, patch 5.4 for World of Warcraft is on it's way. Siege of Orgrimmar will not only include a new raid where you actually get to lay siege to Orgrimmar (go figure)  but will also include new Flexible Raid Difficulty, a new Arena: Timeless Isle, Proving grounds, and a remade arena system. The new flexible raid difficulty is supposed to adjust it's difficulty automatically based on the the number of players in the raid. The challenge for the raid should be somewhere between the Raid Finder and normal difficulty. The new Proving Grounds feature is supposed to take level 90 players and test them in trials for each character type, tank, healer, and dps. Each of the trails will have four different difficulties, bronze, silver, gold and endless. With the new Arena setup players will no longer have to form a team to compete. When in combat remember to use the dodge. If you time the back step right you'll jump back and appear behind the enemy giving you time to unleash a massive combo on your enemy. When exploring the world monsters are just wondering about around you. Don't let them start the combat, make sure to run around behind them. When the combat starts all the enemies will take damage and have a chance of being stunned making life a whole lot easier. Explore, Explore, Explore!  Make sure to take your time and explore everything around you. You never know what you'll find in a hole somewhere. Pick up all the resources you find. So what's the big news for the company that has brought us games like World of Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo? The rumor floating around the net is the major news to be released at the upcoming Gamescom will be the first expansion for Diablo. Blizzard has just trademarked the title "The Dark Below" this is thought to be the title of the expansion. We know that that the big news is going to be about Diablo because co-founder Mike Morhaime said it was Diablo related on a earnings call earlier this month. The announcement is supposed to happen the first day of Gamescom, August 21. Gamescom takes place in Cologne, Germany from August 21-25.

That's right the 11th Doctor, Matt Smith, has announced that this is the end of his roll as the beloved Doctor. Smith joined the epic list of Doctors in 2010, where he stayed for 4 years. He is set to stay around for the 50th anniversary special and the Christmas special where he will be regenerating. The roll of the 12th Doctor has yet to be decided  but the hunt is on.  I can't wait to see who they find. I'll try to keep all my fellow Whovians informed as news is released.

With the release of the first Star  Trek movie by J.J. Abrams the bar for any other Star Trek movie was set high and the real question was would another Star Trek movie live up  to what we have come to expect from them. The answer, yes! This Star Trek movie was amazing. The visual effects were topnotch, they left my jaw dropped from beginning to end. The story not only kept my attention but left me on the edge of the seat the entire movie and when it was all done the only thing I could think was I have to go see this again.  It had  great twists and turns that left you wondering what is going to happen  next. But the movie wasn't all heart stopping action. It had humorous moments to help lighten the mood of the movie. This has to be my favorite Star Trek movie so far. Everybody from the super Trekkie to the person that's never seen an episode in their life will get a blast out of it. Go see this movie.

Recently more information has been released about the prequel of Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Origins. Arkham Origins takes place before the events of Asylum and City, will feature Gotham City before all the super villains and assassins and will show a younger unrefined Batman, still learning the ropes of his new trade. So we've all heard all the reviews about how the new mmo 3rd person shooter just isn't so great with only a 6 rating on meta critic, but how accurate is that really? Well it couldn't be very much because as of April 2 Defiance has over one million registered players. Other interesting numbers over 500,000,000 hellbugs have been killed, over 50,000,000 miles have been driven, and a million arkfalls have been completed. How's the TV show going? Well it's broken SyFy records with over 2.7 million viewers for the premiere episode. This also makes Defiance the most-watched scripted series debut on SyFy in seven year. So what do I think? I've loved both the series and show so far. Well except the horrible remakes of songs at the end of each show, yuck. But other than that both have been a total blast and I can't wait to see where they all end up.

I was really looking forward to this Iron Man movie. I've always loved the Mandarin as a super villain especially against Iron Man. The ultimate battle of magic and technology, and was any of that in this movie? Nope! They make the Mandarin into some drug addict nitwit. The so called "plot twist" you could see a mile away. To top it all off, Tony Stark doesn't even get to wear his suit for large portions of the movie. He spends most of his time playing MacGyver and getting his backside handed to him. Don't go see this movie! Run from it! Run far, run fast and pray that Marvel doesn't let them screw up the next movie.

So the fourth and final campaign DLC on the season pass is on it's way. Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep is due for release on June 25th and will be free for those with the Season Pass, 800 Microsoft Points, or $9.99 for everybody else. Other DLCs that have been released are Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty, Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage and Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt. Later this year we can also expect to another DLC containing a new playable class Krieg. Krieg is based on the Psycho enemies and should be available sometimes in May for another $9.99 or 800 Microsoft points.

It's only a couple weeks since Injustice: Gods Among Us was released and already we not only know what the first DLC is but we now know when it's going to be released. The very first downloadable character will be Lobo and on May 7th you'll be able to download him. But who is Lobo? Lobo was originally a villain but later turned mercenary/bounty hunter. he made his first appearance in Omega Men issue 3. He has super strength, and a super healing ability where he can regenerate himself from as little as a single cell. Lobo has a deep personal code and will never break his word even with his sadistic and vulgar attitude. If you've been online lately you've already seen the videos of Lobo and Batman beating each other senseless but just in-case here's a link to a bunch of videos on the IGN website.

That's right the orphaned games of THQ have found a new home. Nordic games have taken up Darksiders, Red Faction, MX vs. ATV, Destroy all Humans!, Summoner and Supreme Commander, and they did it all for $4.9 million. Crytek USA who have a large number of former Vigil Games developers have expressed an interest in the making of a new Darksiders game. Something I would be really looking forward to. All the sales of the former THQ games wont be final until a Bankruptcy Court hears the sales motions, totaling up to near $6.55 million. That hearing should happen around May 13 of this year.

I wasn't sure if I was going to even pick up Defiance. I thought it was over advertised and usually when something gets that many commercials it's not going to be pretty. Then just before the game was officially released we started getting reviews, and they weren't all that great either.  Don't get me wrong some people really liked the game, but a lot of people were, to put it nicely less than happy.  Problems included popping textures, problems with physics, falling threw the ground, server crashes, updating crashes, corrupted files, just to name a few. Bugs aside some thought the textures were muddy, the quests were repetitive, the voice acting was bad, and the A.I. was stupid. Anyway in the end I picked up the game all the same and I love it! I love the combat, I love just driving around in my vehicle, I love the arc falls where dozens of people come together to blast bugs.  The combat is dynamic, you aren't going to be standing around just pressing a couple

That's right after the "deal with it" debacle, where Adam Orth a creative director for Microsoft Studios tweeted comments about how everybody should just deal with the new Xbox system always being online, he is no long with the company. Right now we don't know if it was a voluntary or forced resignation right now. A day after the twitter post of Orth , Microsoft posted, "We apologize for the inappropriate comments made by an employee on Twitter yesterday. This person is not a spokesperson for Microsoft, and his personal views d not reflect the customer centric approach we take to our products or how we would communicate directly with our loyal consumers." Right now people seem to rather upset about the comments but we'll see how long that lasts when the new Xbox hits the stores. 

After a series of tweets from Adam Orth, is it me or does twitter seem to just get everybody in trouble, basically telling everybody to deal with the fact that the Xbox 720 will always be online, fans of the Xbox line seem to be more than a little upset. Orth tweeted,  "Sorry, I don't get the drama around having an "always on" console. Every device now is "always on". Today I beat BioShock Infinite. I probably could have gone threw it faster, but this being the first BioShock I've ever taken the time to really sit down and play I wanted to take my time, and I'm glad I did. You can't just rush your way threw this game, you have to sit back and take your time to savor everything.  The scenery is breathtaking and the towns come to life as you explore your way threw them.  Everything takes you back to 1912 where this story takes place. As for combat it's standard first person shooter. Their are about a dozen guns you can use that you can upgrade as the game goes along. You also get to use vigor, powers you get as the game progresses giving you super powers. Everything from shooting lightening and fire to knocking people into the air or pushing them away. I felt like some of the guns, the RPG for example were super underpowered. While other guns like the hand cannon were over powered taking out people in a single shot. While in some g

LucasArts has recently had to lay off 150 people and will no longer be making games. Instead they will be moving to a licensing model, where other game companies will be making Star Wars titles for them. What's this mean? Star Wars 1313 has been canceled along with along with Star Wars First Assault. Of course both of those games maybe be licensed out to other companies. I think this is really a disappointing bit of news. I've been really looking forward to 1313 so I'll just keep my fingers crossed that it gets licensed out and they don't screw it up.

Today at PAX East Gearbox revleaed the latest of the vault hunter, Krieg. Krieg is going to be the sixth vault hunter, the second to be added to the game since it's release. His special action will be Blood Axe Rampage. The skill will allow Krieg to regain his health while attacking using a high risk, high reward system. His three skill trees are Bloodlust, Mania and Hellborn. Mania will give rewards for taking damage, helping with cooldowns and tanking damage for teammates. Hellborn is all about elemental damage. Finally Bloodlust is about damages bonuses, things like a bonus for killing enemies with some sort of explosion and raising your chances of finding grenade ammo after using one. Krieg will be available in May and isn't part of the Season pass. He should cost $10  or about 800 microsoft points. Supergiant, the developer of that super nifty game Bastion has let loose a video of the next game they'll be releasing, Transistor. The game looks amazing bringing back the same isometric combat as Bastion. Players will take the roll of woman who is attacked by a mysterious group, where she gains control of a super powerful weapon. She then has to fight her way threw endless forces that will stop at nothing to see your demise and recover the weapon. The game will have a playable version at PAX East. I've been slowly puttering my way threw the first expansion to StarCraft 2, Heart of the Swarm. I probably could have beaten it faster, but it's not often something comes out that I've been looking forward to as much as this expansion and I wanted to savor it. While the first StarCraft 2 game focused on the terran race. More specificlly Jim Raynor and his quest to save Kerrigan and stop the Dominion. That's a super abridged version, I'm trying not to give away anything in case you've made the horrible mistake of not playing yet. Anyway Heart of the Swarm focuses on the Zerg race and Kerrigan. The story for Heart of the Swarm was great. I kept me interested the entire way threw. I never felt like things were dragging or that their was was just filler. My only complaint would be that it was relatively short. I managed to take about a week to beat this but if I would have just sat down and played it would have been done way sooner. Gearbox has revealed that in an upcoming DLC for Borderlands 2, we will be getting a new Bault Hunter, YAY! Gearbox teased us a little clip saying "deep beneath Pandora, an experiment has escaped. Bandits beware, a new Vault Hunter is coming. More mayhem awaits."  So  we don't know when the DLC is coming, except that it should be soon and we don't know what the new vault hunter is going to look like but we do know that this patch will be part of the season pass.

Warlocks The Warlock has 3 different skills trees. Affliction, Demonology, and Destruction. The three skill trees: Affliction: Basically DoT damage and right now the highest warlock damage output. While slowly taking your opponent things like soul siphon, life siphon and deaths embrace help keep you up and running. Demonology:  Boosts your demons damage and gives you the Metamorphosis ability. Great for soloing and your best best bet for surviving when everything is going wrong around you. Destruction: Direct-damage. What you choose if you like fire. Spells like Chaos Bolt help provide you're highest nuke damage. For when you need damage now and can't wait around and wait for DoTs to take your opponent out.

Today Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag has been confirmed. Of course we all knew about this after a marketing material was leaked about a week ago. This installment of the super popular Assassin's Creed series is going to be the first to take us to a new time period with a new hero. So far the buzz on the net is we will playing as some sort of pirate, which isn't to big a jump after how successful the navel battles were in the last installment of the series. Oohhh man it's close now or at least it darn well better be. Patch 5.2 The Thunder King is on it's way and oh man does it look good. They've recently come out with an official trailer, if you want to check it out, and you really do,along with all the other nifty new stuff we can expect just click here . So far we can expect 2 new world bosses, a new raid Throne of Thunder, and new armor sets.

That's right the final Mass Effect 3 downloads are on their way, touching moment. Anyway the final Multiplayer download should be here February 26th for Xbox 360 and PS3 and a day later on the PC. This patch is supposed to include a new playable Geth Juggernaunt,, Female Turian Raptor, Talon Mercenary and Alliance Infiltration Unit. We'll also get a bunch of new weapons including the Lancer Assault Rifle, Gether Spitfire Assault Rifle and Venom Shotgun. The Single-Player download will be priced around $14.99 and come in two downloads. You can download the second part for free but it just wont work without the first part that takes the money. We should be able to download those on March 5th. I love my PS3. I've been in love with the whole Playstation experience since the first one and then the PS4 info was released. I don't know what to say other than I'm angry. Yes the new system has super power, and the new games looked pretty slick. Of course I want to play the new Infamous but Sony has screwed this up. First off it's not backwards compatible. I was happy when they said that at first the PS3 wasn't backwards compatible at first but they were working on it. Then we found out that they has lied to us and took out it's ability to play older games for the simple reason as they found a better way to make money and we could just go onto the Playstation store and buy the games again. Now the PS4 info is out and we find out that it isn't backwards compatible in not just the fact that it wont run disks of the past, but it wont even run the games you've already downloaded. Their is no reason for this. We see newer systems playing older games all

So Sony has announced that a price cut is coming to Vita over in Japan. I know you want to start cheering, but hold it in Why are you holding it in you ask? Cause you aren't getting one. At least not yet. When IGN contacted Sony about the price cut Sony basically said they didn't have anything to say and we should just be excited about the PS4.  We are supposed to hear about the PS4 on February 20th.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is well on it's way into gaming libraries all over the world on April 16th but is the game going to be good?  I really have my doubts to be honest. I've found over and over again that the source material doesn't matter much anymore. For example Aliens: Colonial Mariens. The Aliens lore is rich and plentiful yet they still manage to biff the game. I've also come to the conclusion that the more advertising you push, and they've done a lot, the less faith they actually have in the game. I really just don't think Injustice is going to be that great of a game. I'm waiting for the loud roar on release day. Of course I could be wrong, but I'm not holding my breath.

So Bungie has given us a larger look into the future world of Destiny. Destiny is going to be a shared world FPS.... What's that? Well you know when  your friends just jump into the middle of your world when you're playing Borderlands 2, it's that. Even that is kind of up in the air though, since Bungie didn't let us see any game play.So we know that we aren't going to be having to pay a subscription fee. We also know that it's not going PC. It's only going to be on the consoles, now if that's going to be the systems that are already out or if they mean the next gen systems we don't know. I would assume next gen for the simple reason that on the 20th we are supposed to get release info the ps4. As for the game it's self we know their is going to be three character classes, Titan, Hunters, and Warlocks. The game is going to have tons of gear, weapons, vehicles, heck we're even going to get a spaceship, mmmmmmm spaceship goodness. Right now

That's right before I posted about the currency change from valor to justice and justice to gold. That's been taken out.  The change between Conquest to honor and honor to Gold is is still on however.  So you still want to keep hording those Valor points so when patch 5.2 is finally released you'll be able to pick up more of the new gear. They decided to not make the change because it just felt mean, as many of the players agreed. People didn't want to go run LFR before because all the valor they got was going to be taken from them and who wants to grind when you aren't going to get anything out of it. I know I wasn't going to do it. So thank you Blizzard for listening to your fans, and I guess it's time to go back to grinding.  It's time to jump back into the world Diablo 3 for those of us that just ran out of demon hunting steam. The latest patch has some really big new changes to suck us back in. With this patch we finally get some Diablo 3 PvP.  The patch opens up "The Scorched Chapel,"  that you can access by speaking to Nek the Brawler. So far the battles will consist of 2 to 4 players battling it out.  Blizzard hopes to get other pvp modes out in later patches but haven't let out any hints of what those modes will be.  PvP is finally here after being promised to us since before the release along with an auction house that they got working late last year. Other big changes with this patch will come for the Wizard and the Monk. Both the monk and Wizard will get a huge increase in damage, almost doubling the amount of damage done by most skills. I've given up on pre-ordering games. When I was younger it was a big deal, I had to know that I was going to be able to get that game the day it came out and it had it's perks. Sometimes it came with dinky little toy, a poster, art book, or some kinda of download. Lately though it just doesn't seem worth it. Games that looked so great when they were on the way finally get here and aren't received all that well. A prime example is the latest Aliens game. All the pictures looked great and when developers would talk about it, it sounded little rainbows and lollypops...well Alien rainbows and lollypops. Maybe not the best analogy but you get the idea. Now that it's out, horrible reviews abound, well except for egm, but we don't talk about that. From now on I'm just waiting for the game to come out. I'm waiting to see what everybody has to say and I want to see what the game actually is going to look like before I buy it. For the $60 that they want for that

DC Injustice, a fighting game made to settle all those endless arguments you and your friends had about who would win in a battle between your favorite DC comic characters. DC comics and the makers of the Mortal Kombat games have given us Injustice: Gods Among Us. For a quick plot run down, the Joker finally gets off a major attack killing a ton of people. As a result we turn into a police state. While some see this as a good way to protect the people, others see this as our complete loss of freedom. So the rumor is that we are going to find out what we can expect from the PS4 on February 20th, but until then we are going to have to settle for random rumors from "unnamed Sony officials." What we're hearing right now is that Sony is going to push to make the PS4 to be the "nerve center" of your homes entertainment. That the main selling point is going to be beefed-up hardware, but how it's going to be able to connect with mobile devices. Sony, really? I don't care about how I might be able to connect to things with my mobile devices. What I want is a super powered system, with the newest prettiest graphics, and super amazing launch titles. If you think giving the PS4 a bunch of stuff to do with mobile anything is going to make me buy more equipment you've lost your mind. With three systems on the market not to mention your PC, where more and more games are going at launch right now, I can pick and choose where I take my gaming money. Of course

So as with every patch, WoW players get to pick up some new gear. Also with every time we get a new set of valor gear and PvP gear their comes a currency change. This time around things are going to be a bit different. This time old Valor items wont be changing to cost Justice points. Now they are just going to lower the price of of current Valor gear by 50-75%. Also all Valor points will be converted to Justice points and Justice points over the 4k cap will be changed to gold. Valor->Justice->Gold The same thing will be happening with PvP gear. Conquest points will be changed to Honor and Honor over the 4k cap will be changed over to gold. Conquest->Honor->Gold So what do you do with what you have? Well that's up to you really. The more justice and honor you have now, the more gold you'll be getting after the change.  My only problem is that where in the past the valor gear would only cost justice points, they wont be doing that this time. For all of us that have played or are playing Borderlands 2 we've had the please of meeting Tiny Tina. Tiny Tina is everybody's favorite explosives obsessed, orphan. Well I thought she was everyone loved her but recently the fact that Tina used "African American lingo" was compared to "verbal blackface." All this started with a tweet from Mike Sacco, a creative developer from Cryptozoic Entertainment, to Anthony Burch saying “Hey. I've been an Elder Scroll fan since Morrowind was released back in the day. There's something about the giant open world where anything is possible that just pulls me in and makes me go on. In most games once the main story is over I just slowly stop playing but the Elder Scroll games have so much to do and such an engrossing world that I always find myself unable to stop playing. But that same massive open world can be slightly intimidating for some. So I've decided to give some tips for the latest installment of the Elder Scroll franchise, Skyrim. Save early and save often. F5 is the quick save, use it. Read Everything. Knowledge is power and you need all you can get. Choose a play style that works for you. Magic, hack and slash, sneaking it all works. If one style isn't working for an enemy, try another one. If your health, magic, or stamina are low, rest. Press T to rest. Look for Oil on the floor, fire will light it up and take out enemies. I didn't even know their was Signature Weapons in FarCry 3 until I unlocked  Shredder, the Signature smg. So I decided to go out and find them all. Just a little side note though, just because it's a Signature weapon doesn't make it the best weapon. All the Signature weapons come with their own attachments and can't be modified. So if you like your sniper rifle with a silencer on it you aren't going to like something like AMR. So without further adieu here is a list of all the Signature weapons and how to get them. Shadow: Pistol with an extended magazine, silencer, enhanced accuracy and better stealth. You can unlock this by taking over 17 enemy camps. Shredder: Not just after those darn Ninja Turtles any more. Shredder is an smg with a silencer, extended magazine, reflex sight. Not to mention the  Enhanced accuracy and damage. When you start FarCry 3, you're limited in how much you can carry. Not just in your ruck sack but in how many weapons your can equip, how much ammo you can carry and how my syringes you can carry. So one of the first things you should be doing is getting some hides and start crafting new bags. So here are some hunting tips to get you started in your bag crafting fun: Pelts and animals can't destroyed, so if you want to bust our your rpg and take out that shark go for it. When you are doing the hunting quests, make sure to use the right weapon.  Bring plenty of animal repellant. Animals like the big cats will try to hunt you and their is nothing worse than wondering around trying to find a tiger and instead getting eaten by one. Don't get in the water with the sharks. Go to the beach with either a bow or a your rpg and blast them from the safety of the shore. Skin the shark then remember to get back out of the water! Shortly after the release of Borderlands 2, a fifth playable character was released. That character was Gaige the Mechromancer. Her special ability is to summon a Deathtrap, a flying robot pet that take out Gaiges her opponents. Her three talent trees are Best Friends Forever, Little Big Trouble, and Ordered Chaos. Best Friends Forever is probably the most popular skill tree to take for Gaige and was designed to make life a little easier for the player. With skills like Take Close Enough, that allows bullets to ricochet off just about anything and automatically start heading towards enemies, making the game a bit more forgiving. Little Big Trouble is more about giving added shock damage. Skills like One Two Boom Deathtrap fires off a giant electric orb, once you shoot it (which can be a problem) it causes a major electrical explosion can take out large groups of enemies quickly.  The last skill in the tree, Make it Sparkle, lets you shoot Deathtrap with an elemental weapon, giving

Today I'm going to write about Salvador the Gunzerker. Salvador is what would be referred to in traditional games as the berserker.  He's the guy that goes in with guns blazing and takes everybody out. If you're the more up-close and personal kinda fps player this is the guy to go for. Salavadors' special ability is Gunzerking. Gunzerking lets you bust out two weapons at the same time and take out everything in your way. While with other classes the cool down for your skills isn't that bad the Gunzerking is one of the higher ones with a 42 second wait until you can use it again. As with all the other toons you get your choice of 3 skill trees to buff up Salvador. Gun Lust- this skill tree is more about reloading, changing weapons and making the guns use more potent. Rampage - this tree is more about your ammo, recovering and capacity, not to mention lowering cool down time and making the actual gunzeking last longer. Brawn - the tank class making you toughe

This is the third installment in my Borderlands 2 guides. I've covered Axton, and Zer0 so far and now it's time for the beauty of the wastelands, Maya. Maya is the Siren class for Borderlands. Lilith was a Siren of the original game. Maya's special skill is Phaselock. It brings enemies into the air locking them down for you to take out. As you gain levels the Phaselock ability will gain different additional powers. Everything from giving back some health, increasing critical and hit damage, not to forget lighting enemies on fire. Tips: The Harmony skill tree has abilities that bring back health and is great for playing with friends. The Cataclysm tree is just what is sounds like. Your Phaselock ability will have the added elemental effect. Phaselock is a great ability for setting up sniper shots. Always carry a sniper rifle. The Motion tree is great for handling large groups of enemies. With skills like Converge that will suck a bunch of enemies together setting t
