The release date for the next game in the Batman series has been released. June 2, 2015 you'll be able to pick up Batman: Arkham Knight. You may remember the game was originally supposed to launch in October of this year but it was pushed back. So what's going to come along with the limited editions, I mean besides the $100 price tag. Well on version will come with concept art, a SteelBook (not sure what that is), Limited Edition DC Batman: Arkham Knight #0 comic, three unique skins from the New 52 comics, and Batman Memorial Statue. That's not enough for you? Oh well, you could also pick up the Batmobile Edition and it's only *choke* $200. It comes with everything I mentioned before along with a transformable Batmobile statue as well. Batman: Arkham Knight will be released on the next gen systems along with the PC.

I've only just beat Batman: Arkham City, I know, I'm super behind but slowly catching up next on the list of things to beat is Origins. But more importantly the first video of Batman: Arkham Knight has been released. That's right get the dance of endless glee out of your system. The video shows now just in game videos but supposedly actual game play. I wont tell you exactly what's in it, no spoilers, I'll let you watch and enjoy it yourself by clicking here , enjoy.

Oh that's right, Batman fans rejoice. Rocksteady Games has let loose with a new trailer to he next Batman game, Batman: Arkham Knight.  While we still aren't sure about what he game is completely about, it looks to be a very young Bruce Wayne dawning the cape and cowl this time around. What has me the most excited about the trailer though is  *spoilers* not that the warning is going to mean much, the batmobile. I've wanted a good game where I can tear through the streets of Gotham in that car for so long it hurts. Anyway we don't know the release date of the game but if you want to check out the trailer  here  is a link to it on ign.com.

As much as we all hate it, we just have to accept that on launch all games comes with problems, Batman Origins is no exception.  But in this wonderful age of everything being connected to the net, and endless patching it's not as big of a problem. Sure you'll end up sitting around day after day downloading a new patch to fix yet another game killing bug, but at least the game works.  The only real problem is when the game makers decide they don't want to patch the game and that's what the makers of Batman Origins have done. Warner Brothers Games Montreal has recently said: "The team is currently working hard on the upcoming story DLC and there currently are no plans for releasing another patch to address the issues that have been reported on the forums,"  I don't know about you but I think I would rather have a game that works right than have more story that May or may not run right. I think this just goes to show yet another game company that cares ...

With the recent sale of Batman Arkham Asylum on Steam I figured I would give it a shot. In the past superhero games have been, to put it nicely, lacking. Batman Arkham Asylum however has reset my exceptions. This game not only has nice graphics, but a good, easy to use combat system that actually makes you feel like Batman, and a good amount of gadgets that also help along that Batman feeling. The voice acting was amazing, and story moves along a good pace.  Their are tons of extras to find, some helping along the back story of the asylum and some that are just for us Batman fans to geek out on.  Along with the story, their are different challenge modes that you can unlock where you have timed missions to take out a certain amount of enemies. Their are some not so great things though. Sometimes the camera is in the worst position possible, especially in combat, and you'll find yourself fighting to get it where you can see what you're fighting. Also the some of the items that...

So to start the story here, the next Superman movie is supposed to be a duo of Batman and Superman. We have already heard that Henry Cavill is going to return as the man of steel but who is going to be Batman. Well today Director Zack Snyder has officially announced that the next dark knight is going to be played by Ben Affleck.... yeah. Did anybody else wince in pain when they read that? I know I did, but why you ask? The last super hero I can remember Affleck playing is the Dare Devil and if you saw that you movie you know exactly why you don't want him to be the next Batman. If you haven't seen that movie, count your blessings and pray that you are never exposed to it.  I've always thought that Affleck couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag and now we're doomed to suffer his acting again. Anyway the next upcoming Superman, Batman movie is set to be released July 17, 2015. Of course we all know how those dates are never even close to being set in stone. Yea...

Recently more information has been released about the prequel of Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Origins. Arkham Origins takes place before the events of Asylum and City, will feature Gotham City before all the super villains and assassins and will show a younger unrefined Batman, still learning the ropes of his new trade. For a teaser trailer you can visit their youtube page by clicking here . A full trailer will be released on May 20th, and the game is set to be released October 25, 2013.

So Batman The Dark Knight Rises is out on blue-ray for everybody so I thought I would give it a review. First of all I'm a Batman fan. I've seen the all the movies, I've read the comics and played the games. So maybe I have a bias, keep that in mind when reading the rest of the review. To be honest I can't believe that anybody liked this movie. While the acting and action was good the plot was crap. It had holes in it you could drive a batmobile threw. Characters that we have all grown to know and love threw the ages acted in ways that not only were out of character but were down right frustrating. I don't want to say exactly what happened not just keep the spoilers away for those masochists that still want to see the movie,  but to save the rest of you the suffering I had to endure. I've never been to a movie that actually wanted to leave in the middle of but I guess their is a first time for everything. Do yourself a favor and skip this movie.
