Warcraft Movie Review

Warcraft: A Movie Review  OR Another reason to IGNORE CRITICS So for awhile I've been reading review about the new "Warcraft" and I've yet to read a professional critics review that didn't loath the movie. I read how the story was impossible to follow, how the characters were shallow, and the only thing that was any good was the special effects. Well, I guess the critics had to get something right, the special effects were amazing. As for the the story being hard to follow, anybody that payed any attention to what was happening in the dialog new exactly what was happening. Everything was made perfectly clear, from names of characters to the names of the locations they were in. As for the characters, I actually liked them all, well except for those I was supposed to hate, but still, you get the point. It didn't matter if you've been playing in the Warcraft world from the beginning, just started, or have no clue about any of it, if you like fant

Fallout DLC Announced

If danced I would dance a jig of glee, but nobody wants to see that. I love Fallout4 and finally Bethesda has announced the first three DLC coming, Automatron, Wasteland Workshop and Far Harbor. Automatron will be $10 and released in March. You'll be out to stop an evil horde of robots released by "The Mysterious Mechanist." Not only will you be hunting those robots but you'll be able to create your own robots. That's right my evil robot minions go forth, insert evil cackle here. Wasteland Workshop will be released in April and cost $5. It's going to to let you set traps to catch just about anything in the wastelands. Not just creatures but people like the raiders. You'll be able to tame the creatures or face them off against each other. Far Harbor is the biggest of the three announced and will be $25, in May. It's supposed to have a new case from Valentine's Detective Agency, adding a huge land mass, news quests, settlements, creatures and d

Super quick no spoiler Review: DeadPool

I loved DeadPool! I laughed my way threw it. The action was great. While I haven't read very many of the comics the writers managed to capture the comics really well according to what I've been reading fans say. I had so much fun the entire way threw. As much as I loved it though, a warning. It got an R rating for a good reason. Adult humor, blood, gore, nudity, and sex runs a muck threw the entire movie. If you're easily offended by those things you aren't going to like this, and you probably don't want to take little kids to this movie. Go see it, it was well worth my time, money, and bladder control, damn soda.

Big Destiny News

Bungie is teasing a whole lot of information for Destiny. First they're talking about a big expansion later this year. Second they released that in 2017 we are going to be getting the sequel. Originally itw as said that it would hit this year but not so much anymore. Well that's all well and good for later but what about now? Well within a couple months we are due for the next big patch. We haven't had a lot of specifics about the update but we are supposed to see new light levels, new gear and new PvE challenges. Who knows what everything is going to cost but most websites are guessing that the patch is going to be free, patches usually are, and the expansion later this year wont be.

Fallout 4 DLC info....soon?

Bethesda Finally is starting to talk about upcoming DLC. Well sort of at least. On the Bethesda twitter feed they posted "We know you’re ready to learn what’s coming for Fallout 4 DLC. We’re not far off, and we think you’ll be excited." They also let put up, "We’re also doing a complete overhaul of Fallout 4 Survival mode. Food, sleep, diseases, danger and more. Stay tuned." So with any luck we'll at least get some news about the upcoming DLC, I might just have to start playing again just to get ready for the content. It's kinda funny really just the idea of news gets me to want to pick up this game again. I guess that's the sign of a good game.

Happy and not so Happy News Time

First the happy news. The Division will be having an open beta. It's going to run February 19-21 unless you're on Xbox one where it's going to start a day earlier, booo. Can you tell how I feel about Xbox? Anyway I'm super excited, I've been kinda on the fence about picking this one up so a chance to try some of it out will be nice. So now some happy and sad news. Final Fantasy 9 has hit iOS and Android today, that's good, but it didn't release for Steam yet, not good news. But if it came out for iOS then it should be out soon on Steam, at least that is me trying to be optimistic.

Li-Ming comes to Heroes of the Storm

Li-Ming, the rebellious wizard, comes to Heroes of the Storm today. Who's she? She is the sorceress from Diablo 3. Her role is assassin. Ability Overview: Trait: Critical Mass: Being part of a Take down refreshes all of your ability cool downs. Basic Abilities: Magic Missile: shoots three missiles Arcane Orb: Shoots an orb that powers up as it travels. The further it goes the more powerful it is, up to 300% Teleport: Short instance teleport. Heroic Abilities: Disintegrate: Powerful beam of energy. Direction of the beam follows the cursor for easy target changing.  Wave of Force: Knocks all enemies in an area away. Anyway I think she looks pretty cool, and the sorceress was one of my favorites in Diablo 3. I hope to have a video up of game-play with her relatively soon. What's that you didn't know I have a youtube channel as well? Check it out here !

So pugilist is fun too...

So the curse is alive and well. What curse is that, the curse when every time I see a high level character of another class I suddenly have an undying longing to play that class. This time it was the Monk. I saw a video of a high level Monk doing some kinda of Kamehameha in the air, I don't know what it's called, but dang that was slick. So suddenly the urge to watch some Dragon Ball kicked in and now I need to be a monk. That's right NEEEEEEEEED. I have issues. I'm sure I'll see another Naruto episode and I'll jump back to my ninja. Maybe that's one of the things I like best about Final Fantasy XIV. I don't have to make an entire new toon to try that other class, all I have to do is change my weapon and poof, I'm a ninja, or poof I'm a monk. Really I can be anything I want as much as I want with that simple change.

Blade and Soul Another Look

I'm still having fun playing Blade and Soul, I've decided to start playing as an assassin. I think I'm enjoying him more than the Kung Fu Master, but that might be because of my addiction to Naruto, that could also be why I've recently started playing Final Fantasy XIV as a ninja. Anyway the lag times during combat comes and goes now. Sometimes I can just change the channel I'm playing on, and that clears it up right away, and other times no matter where I go as soon as combat starts all sorts of trouble starts.   Another problem that is more of an annoyance that a real problem are the gold bots in chat. A lot of games have the same problem and I just use the same fix for all of them, right click, and block. On an entirely different note, I've started doing let's plays, If you want to check them please do on my youtube channel.

Final Fantasy XIV The Road to Ninja

That's right a the road to being a ninja, because we all know nothing beats a ninja. So how do you become a ninja? First: You have to have a level 30 rogue, and a level 15 Pugilist. Second: You need to be done with the rogue story quest with the three treasures.( Found that out last night the hard way) Third: (unconfirmed) Do the story quest Sylph Management. You've probably already got it done, but still a lot of people told me I needed this one done. Forth: Once the first and second things are done go and talk to Jacke at the rogue's guild and he'll set you up with the quest chain for ninja.

Blade and Soul yay or not...

The new mmo Blade and Soul, from Nexon has just been released. I was super excited about, can't beat a good martial arts game after all then I started playing. At first I was doing pretty good, the movement was good, the story was interesting, and the graphics are nice but then it happened. Right as the climax to the cinematic at the end of the first zone was happening, the game crashed. When I logged back in suddenly I was in a new zone, no clue of what happened to my master or my friends, now I'm just standing in some town near a beach. Well, I guess I can get over that, I'm sure videos of it will be on youtube. Then I got into my first fight that wasn't in the starting zone and then the lag begins. Trying to get the counter punch to work, is near impossible to get to work, suddenly other enemies are just appearing around me, even my normal attacks are off because all the timing has just gone out the window. I've asked for help to see if anybody else has had

New Final Fantasy XIV addiction

Image
I've recently started playing Final Fantasy XIV. I've played almost every FF game made and figured it was only a matter of time before I started this one too. Anyway I've been having a blast, started off as a lancer because Dragoons have always been a favorite class in the past, but then I saw they had Ninjas, and let's be honest, nothing beats a Ninja. So yeah, yeah here's a screen shot of my new addiction.

What is P2W

What is pay to win (p2w)? Pay to win is when the game offers you something in-game for real money that give you an unfair advantage over everybody else.  Examples? Weapons that are more powerful than anything else in the game. Characters that are more powerful than anything else in game. wait times, travel times become so long that the game becomes near impossible to play without paying. What isn't it? Cosmetic items. New hair isn't going to win you anything. Experience Bonus Mounts Where things get confusing? Sometimes a game is still p2w even if you can get the items without paying. Well then how is it p2w? Really it all comes down to a balancing act. If the game is selling a super weapon and you can pay real money to get it but you can also get the game threw in game currency it's not p2w, unless, getting that in-game currency in drops few and far between making it almost impossible to get enough to buy the item. A game that has done a good job of ba
