The people have spoke, and bioware has listend...kinda.

Not to long ago Bioware released the restrictions for the free to play, players of Star Wars: The Old Republic and the people were not happy. Usually once something like this is released the people would be told to just deal with it, after all they aren't paying to play and if they really wanted no restrictions they would pay the subscription fee, but Bioware has decided to listen to their fans and ease those restrictions. Originally for F2P players their would be no second action bar and Warzone battles would be limited to only three a week. With the new changes that second action bar is unlocked and the Warzone battles have been upped to five a week. While it's not a huge change, it's something and for those of us looking forward to playing SWTOR but aren't willing to pay a subscription fee. On a non-gaming note, I've posted my episode of "The Mad Scientist" on youtube and would really appreciate you all going and checking it out. Click here to do

Borderlands goes on IOS

Update: Borderlands Legends has been confirmed, like we didn't see that one coming right. It should be available October 31 for $4.99 on the iPhone and $6.99 on the iPad.    While the game isn't going to be the standard Borderlands fps, it will what looks like a top-down strategy games, while still keeping skills and the huge number of potential weapons. Something else we can be looking forward to is being able to control each of the four characters at the same time, and it looks like super powerful team attacks will be able to be used. __________________________________________________________________________________ Recently an advertisement was spotted showing off a Borderlands that will be released on the iPad and iPhone known as Borderlands Legends.  Borderlands Legends will let you control one of the 4 original vault hunters to take out wave after wave of enemies in random missions. Just like the other Borderlands titles you will be able to gain experi

Star Wars: The Old Republic F2P Details

For those of us who have been waiting to hear anything at all about SWTOR going free, finally Bioware let out some details about what kind of limitations we are going to be dealing with. F2P players will only be able to to do PvE Flashpoints, PvP Warzone and space missions, each three times a week. To get around this you'll be able to buy weekly passes for each that will give you unlimited access. I'm not exactly how this will effect story content but Bioware is still saying all the story content will remain free. Also they have limited the use of the Cargo Bay and your inventory storage, letting you expand both with the new "Cartel Coins." Other things that will effect the F2P people are things like subscription people will have priority to log-in, their ability to quick travel and return to their factions space station (emergency fleet pass) will both have shorter times for subscribers. Along with a few other things that all basically are their for the convenien

That's right, the all mighty Gearbox has done it again. Not even week after the early release of the super amazing Mechromancer download, Gearbox has confirmed the release of the next DLC for Borderlands 2. This DLC is entitled "Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty," is the first of four to be released. The price is set for $10.00, or if you've already bought the season pass for $29.99, you will access to this DLC and the rest upon their release. The content will include new enemies, a new vehicle, the sand skiff, and a new form of money, seraph crystals. We should be able to download this endless shoot'em fun on October 16th.

it's alive! Mechrommancer early release

Oh yeah I didn't see this one coming but it made my day and I'm sure a whole lot of other peoples. The makers of Borderlands 2 has graced the masses that decided to pre-order their super funny, shooting extravaganza, also known as Borderlands 2, with the release of the Mechromancer an entire week early. That's alright you can go change your pants, I can wait. I thought it was kinda exciting too. The new character class known as the Mechromancer is the first added character, along with being the first of the DLC for those who had the good sense to pre-order the game. The Mechromaner is a young lady... well close enough to lady, who's special ability is to summon a floating robot to do her bidding which just happens to be kill, kill, kill and boy does he do it well. With added skills like equipping a laser cannon to the robot, he can take down anybody and anything in his path. But the Mechromancer doesn't just rely on the robot, she can get slick skills like letting
