Baldur's Gate, Diablo 3 and Mass Effect 3

So it's been a big day in the gaming world with some great news that everybody can dance a jig of glee about.

Baldur's Gate Remix
First is that Atari, Wizards of the Coast, and Overhaul Games have announced they are in the process of making enhanced editions of Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate 2. Now for the young this might not mean much but for those of us that have been playing games for awhile this is epic news. The Baldur's gate games were some of the best RPG gaming ever created. Baldur's Gate was release in 1998, in a dungeons and dragons setting you took the role of a character out to find why and who was after you. Along the way you completed quests, befriended companions that you ended up growing close to, all across dozens of maps. This game was as close to an open world as you were getting back then. I can't wait to see what comes of these enhancement editions of the game. If you want more information you can visit the official site here.

Diablo 3 Launches
Diablo 3 finally has a release date! That's right finally, lets just hope that this isn't going to change on us again. According to the official Blizzard site Diablo 3 will be released on May 15. Mass Effect 3, Effects the Masses
Last but not least I haven't finished Mass Effect 3 yet. I've decided to take my time and savor the end of one of my favorite game series. I'm not sure what the ending is yet but the world has spoken and nobody seems to be happy. Bioware spokesman have said that they have heard you and they are listening. If that means anything or not who knows, but in the world of downloadable content the game isn't over until the final one has dropped. I'll have a review of the game up once I've completed it, probably this weekend.
