WoW: Warlords of Draenor First Impessioin

Well that could have gone smoother... I was really happy at first. I picked up Warlords first thing in the morning and only had to wait in a short line to get it, good times. Warlords installed super fast, all the codes that came with it went in with no problems and life was good. I even got to play threw the opening sequence of the game without any lag or disconnecting issues. Then then the problems came.

I shouldn't say problems really. The only problem I had was that I kept getting kicked out of the expansion zone, then the game. When I would log back in I found myself in Stormwind, where my hearthstone was set to, and when I would try to use the new Garrison Hearthstone to go back to where I was, it wouldn't work. This happened to me a couple times before I decided to just stop for a couple hours. When I came back later that night it didn't happen again.

So what do I think of the expansion so far? I'm having a lot of fun. The story has me hooked, not to mention how much I love how they put you right into the center of working on your garrison. I love the garrison and I'm so happy they don't have us waiting until half way threw the expansion to get to do anything with it. It's so much fun just roaming around finding new things to build and new character to add to the garrison. It's neat seeing the different missions you can send your friends and how different characters effect your chances to complete the missions.

Anyway I'm having a ton of fun so far and can't wait to see what's going to happen as I get further into the expansion.

Another Day Another Bounty 10.24.13

That's right it's a new day and another bounty has been released for all of us hunters in the Borderlands 2 Loot Hunt. Today's bounty is DJ Tanner , he can be found in Magnys Lighthouse . This hunt is another that is in the Captain Scarlett DLC. He should drop the " Tidal Wave " that can be used for the community bounty. Speaking of the community bounty, today's community bounty is Sand Worm Queens . You may remember fighting one while doing the My life for a sand sandskiff mission  early on in the DLC. A Sand Worm Queen is what leaps out of the sand and swallows Lionel's engine capacitor. I found the best place to find the Sand Worm Queen in Wurmwater just north of the Rustyard exit in a crater. You actually have to hope out of your skiff for them to spawn and they don't always spawn. I have a picture of the location down below. Wildstar goes F2P

Another MMO is going free to play. That's right recently the makers of WildStar have announced it's going free to play. I don't know if it's just going completely free and just charging people for the extras in-game or if you'll still have to buy the game but they are getting rid of the monthly fee. Really you didn't need to pay a monthly fee, I know I didn't for the short time I played the game. All you had to do was buy (with in-game money) the special tokens that would let you in-turn buy game time. That's right, it's the system that WoW picked up, which kinda makes me wonder if WoW is going to be going free sometime in the future. hmmmmm. Anyway Wildstar is supposed to be going free this fall.  So if you haven't played or like me got tired of playing, this fall might be a good time to hop back into the game.
