Fallout DLC Announced

If danced I would dance a jig of glee, but nobody wants to see that. I love Fallout4 and finally Bethesda has announced the first three DLC coming, Automatron, Wasteland Workshop and Far Harbor.

Automatron will be $10 and released in March. You'll be out to stop an evil horde of robots released by "The Mysterious Mechanist." Not only will you be hunting those robots but you'll be able to create your own robots. That's right my evil robot minions go forth, insert evil cackle here.

Wasteland Workshop will be released in April and cost $5. It's going to to let you set traps to catch just about anything in the wastelands. Not just creatures but people like the raiders. You'll be able to tame the creatures or face them off against each other.

Far Harbor is the biggest of the three announced and will be $25, in May. It's supposed to have a new case from Valentine's Detective Agency, adding a huge land mass, news quests, settlements, creatures and dungeons not to mention a ton of new loot and higher level equipment. Gotta love new gear.

Bethesda also said it will continue to release free minor updates, yay free. I guess also the survival mode and the creation kit are being tested out right now.

A heads up though, they are going to be raising the price of the season pass for those that haven't bought it. March 1, the price is going to jump from $30 to $50. Bethesda says it's be cause they are putting out more content this year, but still. I never pick up season passes anyway.

Wildstar goes F2P

Another MMO is going free to play. That's right recently the makers of WildStar have announced it's going free to play. I don't know if it's just going completely free and just charging people for the extras in-game or if you'll still have to buy the game but they are getting rid of the monthly fee. Really you didn't need to pay a monthly fee, I know I didn't for the short time I played the game. All you had to do was buy (with in-game money) the special tokens that would let you in-turn buy game time. That's right, it's the system that WoW picked up, which kinda makes me wonder if WoW is going to be going free sometime in the future. hmmmmm. Anyway Wildstar is supposed to be going free this fall.  So if you haven't played or like me got tired of playing, this fall might be a good time to hop back into the game.

Diablo 1.0.7 Patch

 It's time to jump back into the world Diablo 3 for those of us that just ran out of demon hunting steam. The latest patch has some really big new changes to suck us back in. With this patch we finally get some Diablo 3 PvP.  The patch opens up "The Scorched Chapel,"  that you can access by speaking to Nek the Brawler. So far the battles will consist of 2 to 4 players battling it out.  Blizzard hopes to get other pvp modes out in later patches but haven't let out any hints of what those modes will be.  PvP is finally here after being promised to us since before the release along with an auction house that they got working late last year. Other big changes with this patch will come for the Wizard and the Monk. Both the monk and Wizard will get a huge increase in damage, almost doubling the amount of damage done by most skills. Another Day Another Bounty 10.24.13

That's right it's a new day and another bounty has been released for all of us hunters in the Borderlands 2 Loot Hunt. Today's bounty is DJ Tanner , he can be found in Magnys Lighthouse . This hunt is another that is in the Captain Scarlett DLC. He should drop the " Tidal Wave " that can be used for the community bounty. Speaking of the community bounty, today's community bounty is Sand Worm Queens . You may remember fighting one while doing the My life for a sand sandskiff mission  early on in the DLC. A Sand Worm Queen is what leaps out of the sand and swallows Lionel's engine capacitor. I found the best place to find the Sand Worm Queen in Wurmwater just north of the Rustyard exit in a crater. You actually have to hope out of your skiff for them to spawn and they don't always spawn. I have a picture of the location down below.
